…a Chip off the Ol’ Butcher’s Block!
Carmine is the son of Da Butcher’s Daughter (Est. 1972), aka, Melinda Paletta. By the time Melinda was born, the family business was comprised of generations of meat purveyors, butchers and abattoirs; spanning back decades and decades; almost as far back as the invention of meat.
So when it comes to meat, Melinda knows a thing or two; it’s in her blood. She has spend her entire career in the food industry; the early years garnering an appreciation for quality meats, and her later years perfecting, preparing and serving impeccable dishes comprising of only the best ingredients; all locally sourced from the finest of providers.
So, Carmine came by his affinity for food from watching Melinda create and impress people with amazing dishes. Carmine really likes the flavours that come from BBQ, which is why he wanted to create his own line of BBQ sauces; the ones available where just not to his liking.
Mentored by his mom, he is turning out to be quite the businessman and chef-in-training. Keep an eye out for Carmine, you’ve not seen or tasted the last of him yet!
